Delivering architectural solutions on Whidbey Island
Originally formed in Bend, Oregon, in 2020, Roadside Bonsai Architecture relocated to Whidbey Island, Washington in July of 2022. Roadside Bonsai Architecture is owned and operated by Jeremy Harper — a builder, creator, and problem solver who found his calling in the practice of architecture. Jeremy brings over 20 years of experience in projects ranging from as small as residential decks to university laboratories. With few limitations to the size or type of your project, Roadside Bonsai Architecture can directly take it on, or assemble the right team to make it a reality.
Roadside Bonsai Architecture takes a constraint-based design approach in which the focus is on problem-solving, constructability, efficiency, and achieving a design responsive and harmonious to its context. Each design is a unique result from the project constraints upon which it is derived. And while pragmatic solutions are the driving force behind project delivery, one key constraint is the consideration of appropriate aesthetics. Constraints need not be considered a limitation but rather a means by which a solution to your project is derived.
Let’s discuss your constraints.
Are you ready to collaborate, explore solutions to your constraints, and develop a design that fits your vision, lifestyle, and/or business? If so, let’s talk!
